Alissa has always had the healing touch — a natural instinct to find the right spot and ease tension with her hands. It was only natural that she would become a massage therapist.
After earning her first certification during a challenging time, Alissa returned to massage school with renewed focus and passion. This second experience gave her the chance to absorb advanced techniques and refine her intuitive skills — creating the foundation for her work today.
Early in her career, Alissa discovered a deep passion for helping clients correct posture, alleviate chronic pain, and heal injuries. She expanded her training through experience at acupuncture clinics, learning traditional Chinese techniques like Cupping and Gua Sha, and later fell in love with Medical Massage for its complexity and power to create lasting change.
Her curiosity about the body led her deeper — exploring fascia, myofascial trains, and ultimately the lymphatic system. Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Alissa approaches the body holistically, connecting muscles, fascia, and systems for more complete healing.
Empowering clients through body awareness and mindfulness is core to her work.
"Clients are empowered when they become more present with their bodies. Understanding the mind-body connection is an important step in their healing journey," she says.
Originally from Northern California, Alissa now calls Tucson home. Outside of her work, she enjoys lifting weights, exploring nature with her family, cooking, watching sci-fi and horror movies, and spending time with loved ones.
